Encounter - 50 Sentences
Set of Sentences based on the characters Scorpio Milo and Phoenix Ikki and the relationship between them developed on Encounter
01 – Air
“The air smells weird tonight.” Ikki uttered, knowing that Milo was also frowning.
02 – Apples
“Mamma used to say my name meant ‘apple' , you know?” Milo was saying absent-mindedly, “then father discovered it meant ‘destroyer' funny, huh?” he finished grinning.
03 – Beginning
“I also think you're worth a second helping, Milo.”
04 – Bugs
“So…arachnid, right, Milo?” asked Ikki mockingly.
05 – Coffee
Absorbed by the smell of the steam of the hot coffee in the morning, Ikki did not notice Milo's eyes fixed upon him.
06 – Dark
Walking inside the Scorpio Temple required Ikki's cosmos at all times, for its darkness was more overwhelming than the very place itself.
07 – Despair
“How can we be sitting here as if nothing were happening, when everyone and everything we love is endangered?” One asked to the other, knowing that if they lost their head at their most desperate hour, then they were truly doomed.

Shoulder to shoulder, Scorpio Milo and Phoenix Ikki crossed the threshold of Athena's Temple knowing everyone's eyes were set on them.

The empty wine jugs were scattered around the floor, mute witnesses of their evening.

“I shall part tomorrow.” Ikki said before walking with Milo inside the bedroom.

After the Battle in the Hades, Ikki honoured Milo's passing by not crying; he simply stood in silence before his grave.

“Yummy…” Ikki said licking the ice cream from Milo's lips.

“I can't wear your shoes!” Milo heard him say while he burst into laughter.

“And he was your lover?” Milo nodded and Ikki put his hand on the other's shoulder, respecting the private moment he was witnessing.

Scorpio stood before the fields of Scotland and breathed deeply, as if he should know what he was doing, “This is my father's land.”

“Dite loved his garden more than anything in this world,” the man sighed when he paused, “that's why I keep taking care of the place; because it was a friend's special haven…just like my temple is my own cave.” Milo said.

“Shhh…It's a secret, remember?” Ikki said maliciously

“You're like them! The snakes!” Ikki said angrily at Milo's reluctancy to Shiryu's presence in Sanctuary, “you just go and hide and bite yourself so your venom doesn't touch others!”

The landscape before them was beautiful and Milo knew Ikki was to be much better as soon as he got used to it…especially after throwing him the snowball and the look on the other's face.
39 - Solid
The rocks received the waves crashing against them, then slithering as if embracing them, as if they truly belonged together; just like he had been feeling with Ikki.
40 - Spring
It had been a warm morning spring the first one they had shared as a couple—in love.

“Beware, Milo,” Ikki began to say when they were before Athena, “she loves horses…” the man added remembering that moment of his childhood in which Jabu played to be Saori's horse.

“You've been the only person who's ever worn the Phoenix armour?!”

“God I hate this heat!” Ikki said, while Milo made fun of him knowing he had even lived in a volcano.

“S'agapo.” Answered Milo right after Ikki had said it.

“Thank God you're not as ugly as a real scorpion!”

They had not said anything since Athena had told them about the new menace; and it just made it all worse.

There was nothing Ikki had learnt to enjoy as much as making love with Milo under the waterfall in the surroundings of Sanctuary.

“Suit yourself Milo, hope you enjoy being in Japan.”
49 - Winter
Although it was the coldest time of the year, Milo continued enjoying walking naked around the house, making Ikki laugh all day.

“People will never learn not to carve their names on trees...” Milo said sadly and Ikki looked at him, “they should do it in each other's souls, don't you think, Ikki?”
